Why all NCLEX-RN® /PN® test programs are not alike |

| There are so many NCLEX-RN® and PN® prep programs just google them you get “93,000” listings wow! The problem is that when you go and study the meat and potatos of each program they are all alike. They are cookie cutter solutions to individual problems. If we are to go back to the tenets of nursing theory it is completely opposite of what you have been taught … disease is the same but the individual’s reaction to it differs and therefore your nursing plan must be developed according to the individual client’s need . None, of these programs do that …. Here is where HNS® is different … yes, everyone follows the same program however, the ability to spend time with an instructor 1- to- 1 and where that instructor tells the candidate you are doing poorly . here because of this and the way to approach it is this …. Or tell me your understanding of X and to get feedback from the professor is unique. This is the only way to get at the individual candidates’ problem . Otherwise, the candidate will continue to make the same error over and over again and there is no one to point it out . This is the reason why the probability of passing the second time will go down , not up…. If you look at the statics that the NCSBN® publishes the more times a person takes the NCLEX exam the less his or her chances of passing. In addition to the fact that the candidate continues to make the same types of errors the questions will not be the same. According, the the exam layout avaiable on http://www.ncsbn.org every six months questions are added and eliminated from the database. How is this done? Well , one way is that on every exam 15 questions are test (pilot) questions meaning that they don’t count the NCSBN wants to see if that questions will be permanently including in the data bank or not based on the curve. So, those other programs that tell you to simply do test questions … are failing you because 1- there is no way to predict the questions on the exam only the catergories and the percentage that you may see in that section 2- secondly, according to the test plan the same candidate will never see the same question in any 365 day period. Therefore, the choice of getting out of this viscious is your….. don’t wait ! So, if you are one of those people that were great students in nursing school.But just can’t seem to get over the hump of the nclex….
