| Who doesn’t love a good flash game? And since the definition of good flash games varies from person to person, the abundance of them strewn across the net is hardly a bother! When one is bored and annoyed and has nothing whatsoever to do, flash games act as saviors along with myriad other online games. Starting from clichéd girly games which revolve around decorating rooms or dolls, Flash Games cover games like the “Girly Nurse” which involves the player to move the nurse around, stabbing people with syringes and thus collecting points. Stabbing different people in different uniforms gives the player different points! Online flash games are extremely popular amongst netizens and their variety adds to their popularity. There are different categories in Flash games, namely Adventure games, Card and Casino Games, Arcade and Classic games, Puzzle and board games, Sports and skills games. For the so called nerds and the geeks who are too lazy to leave their beautiful monitor behind, the array of web games welcomes them to play sport games online! Flash sport games have games like “Yeti sports” which, (according to me) is a pretty good substitute of the actual baseball! A yeti stands against a snowy backdrop and the player has to swing the yeti’s bat and hit penguins with it. The harder you hit, the further away the penguin falls and the more points you collect. Though a bit disturbing (the way the penguins stick in the snow like pins), it is quite an enjoyable game. So is “Mario Combat”, a remake of the all famous 2-D game Mario. It has all the aspects of the old games like the turtles and the walls. Only difference is that the graphics is better than before. Some would say though that takes out the authenticity of the game. I agree with that a bit. Then there is the ever popular, uncomplicated-in-its-instructions game “Bejeweled”. It was created by PopCap games. The game requires players to swap jewels and match three identical jewels in either a horizontal or a vertical line. It is a timed game and the player has to score as much as possible before the time on the time capsule below runs out. Despite its simplicity it is a pretty addictive game! Flash games also have online RPGs and Action adventure simulation games like Adventure Quest and Dating Sim respectively. Adventure Quest is a single player RPG and not a MMORPG, enabling the player to fight evil turn by turn. Points, gold and experience is collected with the slaying of each monster. Dating Sim is an entertaining game which requires the player to create a character, inputting intelligence, strength and charm points according to their wish. However at the very beginning of the game all the 3 quotas are turned to zero and the character has to work to increase his brain power, improve his physique and learn to be charming, all the while trying to woo a girl. The game has a limit of virtual 100 days within which the character has fulfill all criteria. This is definitely not one of the famous flash games but it is one of my favorites! So, no more putting it off for another day, if you have the time, I’d suggest you start to play! |
